When are we digitally competent?

At the end of the European project AXESS - Acquisition of Key Competences for Economic and Social Sustainability supported from the Erasmus+ Programme AINova organised a multiplier event. There we presented the online Open Educational Platform (OER) with digital courses to 40 participants. The event took place on 28 October 2019 at the premises of the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information in Bratislava.
The outcome of the project is the Open Educational Platform (OER) freely accessible on the web page www.axesslearning.eu for all interested participants in improving digital skill as well as civic and social competences.

Digital competences open up doors to the labour market as well as active participation in civic activities. The project was oriented primarily on women coming back to work after longer break (e.g. maternity leave) who need to update/refresh their digital skills. The online platform hosts 10 courses accessible in various formats with links and videos, bibliography and glossary related to the topic. Self study on the platform is supported by the Workbook elaborated for users, feedback form as well as Guidelines for trainers.
The main project partners for dissemination and further exploitation of learning outcomes is the Association of adult education institutions (AIVD), Association of Slovak librarians and libraries (SSKK). Their member organisations - training institutions and libraries could disseminate the information on the courses on the AXESS platform to potential users.
